Ready to conquer the Portland Marathon? Join the yogaRIOT Portland Marathon Training Club and train with the best! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a complete beginner, our club is designed to help you achieve your marathon goals while building a supportive community.

  • Expert Guidance: Our group runs are led by Johnny Castellanos, a Portland-based Spin Instructor. Marathon programming and training plans are created by Caroline Plambeck, Certified Personal Trainer. Benefit from their expertise and experience to improve your running performance.

 Training Schedule: 


  • Group Runs Start: Wednesday, June 12th
  • Wednesday Runs: 6:30 AM (3.5-mile run)
  • Sunday Runs: 7 AM (Long run, mileage varies)
  • Marathon Day: Sunday, October 6th

All group runs leave from yogaRIOT located at 7384 SE Milwaukie Ave., Portland, OR 97202

Meet The Team:

Johnny Castellanos (She/Her)

Johnny is a Black and Filipino woman who has been living in Portland for eight years and teaching spin for the past two and half. As the PDX leader for Community Fitness Professionals of Color PNW, she uplifts and highlights fit pros of color in the area, as well as events and gyms looking to grow their BIPOC audience. Recently rekindling her passion for running, she completed the Shamrock 8K in March (42:29) and the Eugene Half Marathon in April (1:48:52). In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies with her husband and their Australian Shepherd, Cooper.

Caroline Plambeck (She/Her)

As the owner of yogaRIOT, a dynamic business coach, and a devoted mother of four, Caroline embodies a commitment to holistic wellness and personal growth. With a diverse background in yoga, fitness, and business coaching, she channels her expertise into empowering individuals to reach their full potential. Caroline believes in the power of personalized guidance, offering tailored support to each client on their unique journey towards success. Her dedication to delivering results-driven strategies ensures that clients not only achieve their goals but also experience profound transformations in both mind and body.
